Award Winning Regeneration Project
Harris Heating installs Solar Panels
Harris Heating installed solar heating panels into fifteen new houses for a new, award winning regeneration project in Dublin. The Sean Tracy House was built at a cost of €14 million and consists of fifty five houses – that’s a lot of solar panels! And was opened by a speech for the minister for housing, Jan O’Sullivan. The regeneration project won awards based on:
- It’s overall enclosed design that is focused on privacy and nurturing community spirit
- It’s energy efficiency features due to the solar panels installed by Harris Heating
The project is being run by the voluntary housing group, Circle and the units were allocated to people on the housing list in the Dublin area. Jan O’Sullivan said that there are further projects being conducted elsewhere including Ballymun.
